The Overdrive Modular 1X Slider is the control system for the next generation of kiteboarding.

Built on the foundation of the Modular system which allows the ultimate versatility and customization, the slider system really comes into its own in the surf and hydrofoil disciplines.

Designed to work with any harness rope system on the market, the Overdrive 1X Slider is a tailor made product with a secure carabiner style entry, allowing the user to attach without the need of opening and resetting the quick release. The smooth running surface was purpose designed to reduce friction, giving the rider the ultimate feeling of freedom, while also helping keep the longevity of the slider rope.

FEATURES

VARIABLE LINE LENGTHS

The new variable Line lengths can greatly adjust your riding style and the kites performance. Shorter lines give the feeling of a faster turning kite whereas longer lines offer more power or for increased hangtime.

FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT

The slider allows complete freedom of movement and the ability to alter the position of pull from the kite to either hip.

LOW ‘V’

The low ‘V’ connection allows direct steering impulse on the kite. It also takes the worry away from inverted relaunch problems.

1X SAFETY

The 1X centralised flagging line connection offers complete depower of the kite when the safety system is deployed.

ASYMMETRIC DESIGN

The Asymetric bar design finger bumps offers superior comfort and incredible grip.

SAFE SETUP

The colour coded line collectors ensure a failsafe line attaching during kite setup.

Bio-based Dyneema fiber boasts the exact same performance as conventional Dyneema with a carbon footprint that is 90% lower than generic HMPE fiber. LINE EXTENSIONS

All control systems come ready to ride with 22m lines, with the extra 2m lines coming separately.

Some people like to ride short lines. They want the feeling of a faster turning kite, or they want to increase the range of a kite. Others like longer lines for more power, or increased hang time.
