B2 combines boardshorts style and function into a kite seat harness. The ergonomic leg straps, inspired by the technology of climbing harnesses, have been developed to enable freedom of movement without pressure points. ION’s sleek Spectre Bar (incl. kite hook) and C30 buckles complete the ultra-lightweight harness. The detachable Downforce_Loop connects the leg straps with the Spreader Bar and prevents the hook from slipping up. The B2’s Spectre Bar is compatible with the Quicklock Hook. It includes the Kite_Knife Multitool 2.0.”

Designed as a stylish version of the timeless seat harness, this boardshort-style harness has very similar pros and cons to a typical seat harness with a few small differences. Pros: very comfortable for those who wish to sit back and ride, shorter reach for the bar due to the lower-sitting harness hook, stylish appearance in comparison to a traditional seat harness, easier on your lumbar than a waist harness. Cons: can restrict movement and make it harder to perform tricks, lots of straps, takes a long time to dry. One other con for me is that the spreader bar came unhooked while in the water body dragging.

Overall I would recommend this harness for beginners and those who wish to enjoy a comfortable, laid-back ride with less boosting and less freestyle tricks, or for those who experience lower back problems after kiting. Due to the restricted movement of your hips, I would not recommend for those who look to push the limits with every session.
